Since 2012, he has been working as a vice-rector for research and cooperation with practice at the University of Hospitality Management in Prague. He is currently involved in the solution of several national research projects related to the hotel industry, gastronomy and tourism focused on applications such as process management in hotel management systems and tourism organizations, the development of a computer simulator of a hotel or the culinary heritage of the Czech lands. He is the author of dozens of professional publications, including several professional books.
